École de musique de L’Arbresle

In resonance with the Couvent de la Tourette, the school hugs the natural slope of the site and anchors itself partly into the ground. The interior is conceived as an acoustic instrument: glued laminated timber, local stone, and an auditorium designed as a sonorous jewel-case open onto the landscape.

Monade, abbaye d’Orvinio

The ruin is neither erased nor frozen: an airy metal structure follows its contours and redraws the original volumes without concealing the marks of time. Retreat cells in the nave, baths inspired by the thermae: a reinvention suspended between past and present.

Poïétique Habitat, l’atelier des saisons

At the heart of the vineyards, a building that changes use with the seasons: housing for grape-pickers during the harvest, craft workshop out of season. Local Douglas fir, impluvium roof, demountable screw foundations, and the ruined wash-house preserved as an anchor point.

Vénissy Habitat

An open block that fosters porosity and movement across the site. Dual-aspect through-apartments, planted galleries, roofs turned into shared gardens, brick and concrete worked in alternating textures to root the project in the heritage of the neighbourhood.

2021 – 2024
Immeuble, rue des Trois Frères

At 37 rue des Trois Frères, the building is examined before being repaired: eleven foundation test pits located and dimensioned, interior surveys unit by unit, services redrawn. Three years later, the works: the old stairwell was holding up part of the building, a temporary structure, removal, loads taken up by steel sections, a new staircase in fibre-reinforced concrete. The old stone steps became the benches that now adorn the courtyard.

Longère en pierre, rue de Méru

A limestone longhouse and its outbuildings become a dwelling. New openings are cut into the eaves wall, roof windows are added, and the file runs through two issues, prior declaration then permit, from the survey of the existing to the insertion views.

Plancher, rue Sainte-Marthe

After the emergency shoring, the second-floor ceiling structure is repaired on paper first: two complete options, replacing the joists, or strengthening the existing, drawn and detailed in support of the project architect. The co-owners made their choice, and the repair works were carried through to the rebuilt floor.
