01 · The project
A block of one hundred and seventy-eight dwellings to refurbish, and within it a corner building to reinterpret. The drawing of the block comes first: it shows the courtyards, the accesses, the voids, what one holds before touching the façades.

02 · Programme & uses
The main issue is accessibility: external lifts and walkways serve every floor, drawn in red in the axonometric so that they can be told from the existing at a glance. What is added is stated as added.

03 · The site
The corner building is rendered by day and by night. Night says what day does not show: the dwellings lit one by one, the building occupied, and what a refurbishment becomes when it is lived in rather than delivered.
