What the studio does, . Four families, from an object on a table to a file lodged at the town hall. Lyon and Paris.

The heart of the studio. The scale of the inhabiting body: a flat being redone, a shop opening, an office reorganised. From survey to detail book, down to the last setting-out.

  • Design and follow-through, from sketch to delivery.

  • Floor and finish reference books, DWG details.

  • Images to decide before starting.

The file to lodge, assembled in full and lodged at the town hall. First, the question that matters: will it pass? The feasibility study answers it, and its cost is deducted from what follows.

  • Site visit, local plan analysis, written note, siting sketch.

  • Prior declaration (DP)

Complete file lodged at the town hall.

  • CERFA form, PCMI documents 1 to 8, notices. Within the threshold below.

  • Amending permit

    Amended documents and file reconciliation.

When the project goes all the way: drawings, tendering, then site meetings through to handover. Renovation costs more than new build — the existing always has something in store.

  • Full commission

From sketch to handover, new build or renovation.

  • Specifications, cost breakdown, contractor consultation.

  • Meetings, minutes, payment approvals, handover.

  • An opinion, a check, a short study, charged by the hour.

Extra hands that take the file on, by the day. Drawings, images, maps, models: what is missing when a deadline nears.

  • DWG, construction drawings, 3D, layout. By the day.

  • Thematic maps in QGIS, from national survey data.

  • Competition or presentation model.

The 150 m² threshold

Kelliane Guerin holds the French State architecture diploma (architecte D.E., ENSA Lyon) and is not on the Order’s register. Private individuals building for themselves must engage a registered architect once the whole exceeds 150 m² of floor area or footprint — the total after works, not the extension alone. A company must engage one whatever the area. Below that, nothing stands in the way; above it, the project is carried by a registered architect as its author, and the studio works alongside them. Better said here than discovered at lodging.
