01 · The atmosphere
Under the roof frame, the bedroom takes the whole length of the ridge, where you can stand up, and leaves the sloping sides to storage. Roof windows bring in the sky without cutting a wall.

Lying under the slope02
02 · Material & light
The bathroom slips into the slope: the bath sits where the roof comes down, since you lie in it, and the full height is kept for what is done standing up.

Making the existing livable03
03 · Uses
Before, it was an attic: boxes, a floor serving no purpose, and months of belongings piled up. The project gains not one square metre, it makes liveable what was already there.
